It is understandable to ask this question. When someone wants to share their work with the general public, they should address any questions or doubts that arise about their work. However, there are some reasons for Acharya Ji’s approach:
Our ultimate goal is to unlock the profound wisdom of the Ved, the core scriptures of our civilization. The sages composed the Brahmana texts to elucidate the Ved, making them more accessible for deeper understanding.
Unfortunately, many existing commentaries on the Brahmana texts fail to elevate the true meaning of the Ved. In fact, some misinterpretations have even tarnished their reputation.
However, the Brahmana texts hold the key to unveiling the profound cosmological secrets encoded within the Ved. By providing a clear and accurate commentary on these texts, we can demonstrate the divine origin and scientific nature of the Ved.
The Aitareya Brahman is a very old and complex text that helps us understand the Ved, the most ancient scriptures of Aryavart (Bharat). Unfortunately, some people have misinterpreted these Brahman texts, leading to practices like animal sacrifice and discrimination. This has also tarnished the reputation of the Vedas and Indian history.
We believe the Ved and other Aarsh texts hold valuable scientific knowledge. To clear up these misunderstandings and reveal the true meaning of the Vedas, we’ve decided to write a new, clear commentary on the Aitareya Brahman.
What We Hope to Achieve : By providing a scientific interpretation of this text, we hope to:
1. Reveal the true scientific knowledge hidden within the Vedas.
2. Clear up false accusations about the Vedas and other Aarsh scriptures.
3. Restore the reputation of Aryavart’s ancient history.
This new commentary is inspired by the work of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, a scholar who strived to understand the true meaning of the Vedas.
Summary
Titled “Vedarth Vigyanam,” this scientific interpretation of Nirukta underscores the need for a new, accurate, and scientific commentary. It aims to address the shortcomings of existing interpretations and restore the true essence of Vedic knowledge.
Isn’t this approach influenced by Western civilization i.e. Intellectual slaves?
There are different ways to share knowledge, research papers may be a valuable tool. However, the Vaidic tradition has its own rich methods, such as extensive books writing, discourses, and debates.
Can a few people truly evaluate such vast knowledge?
Never! A few people cannot evaluate the knowledge of the sages together. The one who has to evaluate should evaluate VedVigyan-Alok: (2800 page research book), each page of which is a research paper.
How can we be sure this knowledge is accurate?
The sages emphasized open discussion and debate. If you have questions or differing perspectives, we welcome a respectful dialogue on a neutral platform.
